Tarun Provat Biswas (Co-founder): An MBA from NITIE and has more than 5 years of manufacturing and Business Consulting experience. Worked with India Today as production engineer and L&T Infotech as Business consultant
Sarbojit Mallick (Co-founder):MBA from NITIE and B.Tech from NIT Durgapur.Experience of 5 years in Business Consulting and Operations with groups like Mahindra and Jindal.
Vignesh Prabhu (Co-founder): Vignesh has vast experience in software development.He has worked with Intel and Google and have completed his Masters in Software Development with a B.Tech in Computer Science from NIT Durgapur.
We have a business model which goes through the following stages:
1.Destination strategy: We look for areas to enter and develop our tours in a certain geography according to the interests of the users and research on the type of getaways and experiences available.
2.Vendor on boarding : We start tie up with service providers who conduct specialty tours and then start the onboarding process via verification of their certificates and documents and then we start making their tours on our website.
3.Sales and fulfilment : We handle the customer acquisition and after converting the deal we pass on the user to the service provider with complete information.
The commission fee structure stands at 10-30% depending on the service provider and mark ups.

From Traveller or user side they face the following problems:
1.The specialty tour providers or adventure activity guides are not that easy to find. They have to be certified and well trained for any situation and should adhere to quality.
2.Planning such a trip keeping in mind the high level of physical activity, terrain nature and timings to make the trip fulfilling is very difficult.
From service provider side or the specialty tour operator side:
1. They have a team of experts who are trained to conduct such activities but do not have the technology or the expertise to communicate to the users and showcase their trips. We have service providers from remote villages of Maharashtra who only communicate over SMS.
2.They rely on cash or payment methods like cheques or bank transfer to their personal accounts. This is seen as a red flag as potential customers may hesitate and they might lose business or might not even get paid due to lack of cash /ATMs which hurts their business.
As an adventure and specialty tours are a new concept so a lot of scepticism exists about safety, amenities and how to reach the place. We directly connect to the service provider after verification which makes the users at ease as they can ask their concerns. Each trip is unique and we develop them by having inputs from the local guides and service providers. This gives the tours a unique flavour and thus creates interest in the user.
Our startup has been changing lives and giving livelihood to people who cannot showcase their camping sites or their mountaineering experiences.We tie up with them and help them get clients for their beautiful camps situated in beautiful locations.The streamlined process of booking and availability check helps them to concentrate on the primary job which is customer satisfaction and improving their services based on our customer feedback system.
We are bootstrapped and we have been operational for last 1 year. We have a sales of 1 crore, served around 5000 customers and around 10% returning visitors every month.
Product: From current 600 experiences, achieving 6000 unique experience from the different focus geographies by December 2017 in inventory.We are looking for a growth of 100% year on year from there onwards.
Price: Pricing varies for different service providers and we have agreements with service providers for bulk pricing thus increasing the profit margin.
Promotion: Online marketing has been mainly through SEO and organic which we have learnt and implemented. We have been focussing on creating quality and targeted content which will improve our page rank.
